⬢ #scale #gltf #fbx #units
A 3D file does not reliably know how big it is. glTF's specification says metres and exporters disagree with it; OBJ says nothing at all; FBX carries a scale factor that argues with its own geometry. So every viewer prints a number, and nobody in the history of this work has read "1.83" and known it was wrong. I stand a person next to your model instead. A chair taller than the human beside it is a mistake you catch in the first second, without doing any arithmetic — and arithmetic was never the hard part. ⬢ #scale #gltf #fbx #units
